Dr Matthew Starr is a highly regarded, ANZBCPS board-certified Specialist Plastic Surgeon, trained in both Australia and internationally. He specialises in breast and body procedures, as well as eyelid surgery.
Born and raised in Wollongong, Dr Starr is the only Specialist Plastic Surgeon exclusively based in the Illawarra and South Coast region. As a local, he understands the unique needs, challenges, and lifestyle of the coastal community.
Dr Starr has a particular interest in breast and body procedures, many of which he performs at Wollongong Private Hospital. Selected procedures may also be offered at Victoria Street Private Hospital, depending on clinical suitability. These include:
- Breast surgery: Breast augmentation, breast lift (mastopexy), breast reduction, and surgery for male chest concerns (gynaecomastia)
